Lauren Banting
Lauren is an early career researcher at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Active Living at Victoria University, Melbourne Australia. She is interested in exercise motivation and how it can be measured and activated using novel techniques. She is also interested in how people regulate their behaviour to overcome immediate urges in pursuit of long term goals, particularly in an exercise setting. Lauren has worked with several populations including culturally and linguistically diverse groups, women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and pre-diabetic populations.
